NextEra Distributed Water provides turn-key project development services for each water reclamation or water management project. From distribution piping to system control integration at the utility plant, we eliminate any potential development risks for our clients by handling all engineering, permitting, construction and facility commissioning.
Plant Operations
Our team of accredited wastewater treatment professionals has decades of operations experience. With our clients’ comfort and convenience in mind, we provide comprehensive operation services and expertise for our reclaimed water facilities so that our clients can focus on what they do best without interruption. Under a Water Processing Agreement, we handle all preventive, predictive and repair maintenance at no additional cost.
PROJECT FINANCING
The Water Processing Agreement
NextEra Distributed Water offers turn-key project financing opportunities through a Water Processing Agreement (WPA). Similar to a Power Purchase Agreement, a WPA is a financing vehicle that allows NextEra Distributed Water to fully construct and operate water reclamation systems at no capital expense or development risk to the end user. Under a WPA, NextEra Distributed Water assumes all maintenance and operational responsibilities as well as all permitting requirements, bonding, construction risk and performance liabilities. Water savings produced by the project are used to pay off the cost of the facility over time; meanwhile, the end-user receives substantial guaranteed savings beginning Year-1 of operations. The agreement is highly flexible and can be tailored to any client’s financing criteria.
